Beside looking good, the aluminum brake cap helps keep the fluid clean. 1) The vent design maximizes the pressure on the fluid to atmosphere seal. 2) The aluminum cap allows the cap to be tightened down harder which further improves sealing, this keeps the fluid cleaner longer than the stock plastic brake cap.
